While Adrienne and Paul are alone in the hotel, they get to kno eachother and start to like eachother right away. the first night they eat dinner and walk around together and all they do is chat about there lives and ex relationships.they hear a report the the storm thats coming is going to be a lot worse then it was said it was going to be, which means they will end up having to spend time together inside most likley. Paul goes to bed early (but cant fall asleep) because he is going to meet with someone who’s wife died during a surgery he was doing. Adrienne goes to bed around the same time but she also cant sleep because she too is thinking of paul.

Paul is the man that Adrienne fell in love with in Rodanthe. The part i read last time was about his life. he lived i a poor home growing up and chose young that he didnt want to end up the same as his family. He got really good grades and wet straight to college. Then he started a family of his own. he was never very good at expressing himself and he got int o a fight with his son which left tere relationship damaged. His wife divorced him soon after the fight with his son. When paul gets upset he indulges himself into his work rather then think about the pain. the last thing paul did was sell his car,house, storage and dropped the lawer that him and his ex wfe shared. this is all that i know. i have a feeling thats how Adrienne met him in Rodanthe because for once he didnt indulge in work and chose to actually let his emotions run through him. this is also around the same time Adriennes ex husband left her for a much younger woman.

Amanda has two boys that she sadly hasnt been caring for the way she should be since her husband died. Adrienne thinks that if she talks to her daughter about her own personal story of loss, things will be different. so she decides to make her daughter come over for a long talk and has Amandas brothers take both of her sons to the movies for some male bonding time. i think that she is going to tell the story of her and the man she met in Rodanthe.

This book starts off with Adrienne the mother of 3, being 67 years old. she starts by talking about both her sons and her daughter. they are all married and she is proud of all. Adrienne says that when her husband left her daughter took it hardest. now that the 3 are grown they all live their own lives but sadly Amanda (her daughter) basically stopped living hers when her husbnd died. thats about as far as i am right now

so i just finished the book and for the most part it was a rather slow ending. basically it just talks about how the girls acted after there mother was in a coma. and then about how Travis would come in everyday to see Gabby. it came down to him having to decide whether or not to pull the tube. he didnt. she woke up a few months later. everything ended in a really nice way.

Gabby is in the hospital i found out… its a few years later now and after gabby and traivs got married they also have 2 children. both girls. Gabby and traivs got in a really bad car accident, and both travis and Gabby were in acoma, sadly gabby still hasnt woek up… i have a feeling the doctors are going to try and make him decide whether or not to pull the cord on her pretty soon… or she will endup just dieng, or maybe she will get better. im really not to sure what is going to happen next

At dinner, Gabby and Travis talk for a long time. they end up cuddling after dinner, and one thing lead to another… and another…. the next day they woke up next to eachother and gabby has a decision to make considering her boyfriend is going to be back in just a few hours. She ends up choosing Travis. im not sure whats going to happen next but i bet either Travis and Gabby will break or, or eventually get married.

The dog ends up having the puppies and when Gabby comes to get the dogs Travis invites her to go sailing with all three of his best friends and their wives and his sister. after debating for a long time she finally decides to go. they go parasailing and have an amazing day. Travis ends up kissing before she leaves to go home, and she tells him to ignore that it ever happend. when gabby gets home she starts thinking about what is oing to happen in the days to come because of the fact her boyfriend will be back from out of town and wont be back for a few more days. the next day Gabby and Travis go on a day trip together and Travis teaches her how to drive a motorcycle. then they eat a meal together and start heading back to there homes. gabby is really starting to care for him and decides to invite him over for dinner.

well basically Gabby goes over to travis’s house and confronts him about the whole dog thing and she gets so angry she doesnt relaly give Travis a chance to get a word in. the only thing he is able to say is that she should take her dog to the local vet. the next day when Gabby does that she is very emberrassed to find out that Travis is the local vet and that Travis’s dog has been neutured for over two years. long story short yes, her dog is pregnant but by someone elses dog. gabby avoids Travis for a little while after that because she doesnt want to remember the day at the Vet. when Gabby finally ends up talking to him its because her dog is having pains and is yelping a lot and she starts getting worried so she goes to get travis. Travis takes the dog itnto the vet and lays next to the dog all night (even though it was his day off).

Wag the dog starts out having a firefly girl saying that the president had sexual interactions with her in the Oval office. elections are almost over and something like this could ruin his chances of being re-elected. Anne (the president’s official) calls in conrad (a man who is good at covering over bad tracks) to find a way to get everything to blow over. Conrad ends up simulating a war against Albania. Who knows anything about Albania? not to many people which is exactly why Conrad chose it. Anne and Conrad hire a proffesional director named Stanley to help cover up the sex scandal and bring the Albanian war to life. After the mini video clip of a Albanian woman fleeing from her country is produced, Anne and Conrad head back to the US. On the way back they get pulled over by the CIA which is where the movie twists and an unexpected ending gets started.

good and bad parts of this movie
Robert dinero had a few really memorable quotes in this movie that made me think a lot. the first one being
Conrad ‘Connie’ Brean: What’s the thing people remember about the Gulf War? A bomb falling down a chimney. Let me tell you something: I was in the building where we filmed that with a 10-inch model made out of Legos.

i found this quote good because it really does show how much the media effects us as Americans. we believe what we hear on the news and who are we as people to say whether its all completely true or not?

other then that i thought the movie was a little slow paced.
